Camel's comments

beer: Gambrinus 10

quality: better average

staff: Guys – not particulary good looking or nice – average

Bizon said that people tend to average everything when they're evaluating for the first time. Definitely applies to Camel.

Bizon's comments

smell – perfect or at leats good for Gambrinus 10

staff – ok, got Camels

music – loud, but not too much

taste – good (3), foam disappears quickly

overall – goog recommended for Gambrinus 10

Moose's comments

Beer – temperature above average cold

Music – ok, but one volume too loud

Wall – cool 70s paint on 2 walls

Extra – Terminator pinball – ok, but not as good as Dr. Who

PIT STOP – 10 August 2007

Camel's comments

zase Gambáč 10, vyjadrujem názor, že (fuck, I'm supposed to write in English) it's not that cold as the one before, but it taste about the same. I think that Moose won't be able to read this, because we in Slovakia were taught to handwrite really weirdly. The staff is typical Czech – doesn't really care about you, but is always willing to serve you some beer. I hate the slot machines, but my brother told me that 1 machine like that can earn you a monthly rent. Which explains it all… However, what does this tell us about the state of society in general and in Palmovka particularly?

And why do we enjoy it?

Bizon's comments

beer: Gambrinus 10 colder that optimal, 1-2 degrees

smell: not that good, pipes have little "iron" taste

staff: OK, playing fotbalek, but beer quickly

foam disappears quickly and doesn't give you rings on the glass

overall: 3

music: none plus jukebox

Moose's comments

Beer: delivered quick

cold

no foam rings --

Decor: work in progress

ceiling been drywalled

Music: none, until jukebox choice

+ own music

- no ambience when you come in

NO GONG

(We promise to get back to the Gong-issue…)

COBRA – 10 August 2007

Camel's comments

Beer is OK

I'm quite tired, but I still think that our handwriting is weird and mine is too big, so everybody thinks that I must have written so much, which isn't true and I'm not sure in English commas. They're weird.

Moose's comments

For a herna (i.e. something like a casino, but much worse. We'll definitely write more about herna-issue.) high class.

Oneboard on mirror, but in a good way.

Cleanest herna bathrooms in Palmovka

Excellent beer, nice condensation

Bizon's comments

Pilsner 12 for 21 CZK

but only 0.3l, do not have 0.5l!

end bad (he can't explain what he meant by it, probably that the end of the beer didn't surprise him…)

taste: good, thick

foam: optimal temperature

smell: 2, tastes bit like pipes, but only very slightly

staff: not bad, quick

beer, nroem (Bizon doesn't know what he meant. He says that when he wrote it, he put some wrong letters instead of the correct ones…)

it's herna

no one inside

strange feeling (feng shuei)

Well, well, well… Our first research-guide entry. As you can see, Camel can't really write about the beer quality and she was thinking about the handwriting all the time, sometimes about the state of society on the basis of slot machines… Moose never really believed that this blog will be established and he didn't take the job too seriously… But he promised to elaborate more next time. You'd better do, Moose, 'cuz this is pretty serious!

Bizon is into pipes, but he stuck to the issue at least, although he sometimes uses incorrect letters and then, heaven help us…

But don't worry! We can ensure you that the quality of this blog will get better and better. We are looking forward to Weasel's comeback from Berlin and his original thoughts about the beer and world problems!

So… Na zdraví!
